Objectives
  • To reduce the number of stray dogs and monkeys in the cities of New Delhi, Shimla and Hyderabad in India
  • to assess the associative relation between the reduced animal population and incidences of rabies infection and animal bites in the target areas.
Expected results/impacts

1. Current status of Animal Birth Control (ABC) in the three cities
2. Different methodologies used
3. Training Centres, and
4. Common understanding and how to proceed.
