Objectives
  • To Capacity build the ECOPROFIT team of 12 Participating companies on Water Management related issues.
  • The goal of the workshop was to provide company representatives with information on water conservation, present scenario and how can we contribute to water management in industries.
Expected results/impacts
  • All the participants have learned the current Water related issues in present context of the NCR region (especially Gurgaon) and how can they contribute in fighting with the problem of water crisis in the region. Also they got inputs on the European best practice systems regarding Water Managements and the related Case Studies.
  • Workshop also brought the tactics to make a water balance for a company to establish indicators which can further be very useful for controlling the water losses.
  • This was also elaborated with interactive exercise, where participants learned water balancing.
  • Final session was on Rain Water Harvesting by an expert from CSE
