| Objectives |
The purpose of the workshop is to train employees of the Air Quality Laboratories in India and decision-makers within environmental authorities (MoE) to exercise the government’s control function concerning the necessary emission measurements in connection with the incineration of waste substances in special waste disposal facilities, cement rotary kilns and other types of combustion plants. |

| Expected results/impacts |
The target of the workshop is to introduce a sustainable monitoring of emissions from incineration facilities in connection with test burns in India. Such a monitoring is an inevitable prerequisite for the disposal of hazardous waste. The workshop should support is to to show the establishment of a necessary capacities and expertise in this field. |
